Conversation of the Day

Carson: Mom, when I get married will you still know me?
Me: Of course! I’ll still love you just like now! Will you still love me, Carson?
Carson: Yes, but I’ll have to love the other girl too!
Me: Yes, you will love your wife with all your heart!
Pause . . .
Carson: But, I’ll still love you too, Mom!
Me: Yes, you’ll still love me too.
Carson: But if I love her with my whole heart . . . ? I don’t have two hearts!
Me: You can love both of us with all your heart, Carson. That just means you love someone a lot.
Carson: But I don’t want to cut my heart in half!

that's cute! Yesterday at lunch after church, Jackson told us that he is going to marry Makell. Brian asked where they were going to live, and Jackson said, "oh, I will still live here, and she will live next to us." :) Funny kids!

You need to submit that to some sort of magazine or something.

Just as long as you always buy him those big lollipops, he'll have to love you more! (ha ha) He's so cute! (My) Caleb says that we are all going to be neighbors when he gets married. Scott and I will live in the middle, Caleb and his family will be one of our next door neighbors and Lindsay and her family will be our other next door neighbor. Works for me!!!

Don't you just love the conversations you have with them? I need to write more of mine with Kenzie down. You just inspired me to write some down.

Is that cute or what? Kids say the darndest things! I love how blogging can give us a way to write these things down before we forget them. This will be a treasure to have.
